| This 30-paget booklet explains how to go about incorporating a ditch or lateral. It is especially geared toward small residential subdivisions where many users are sharing (and fighting over) ditch water. It was written by a ditch company superintendent, an NRCS officer, and a water management expert from the Bureau of Reclamation - all of them from the Grand Junction area. If after reading this booklet you decide to incorporate your lateral, we have two recommendations: (1) hire an attorney to review your paperwork and (2) join DARCA to make sure you stay informed!
