February 8, 2006 News and Happenings at the Ditch and Reservoir Company Alliance - We are pleased to announce a news digest feature at the DARCA website. Regional headlines are displayed on our home page, and an expanded listing of water-related headlines appears on our news digest page. - If you haven't yet registered for our upcoming Fourth Annual Convention, you'll want to do so ASAP! Seats are filling up quickly. Our convention will be held in Montrose on February 22-24. Our theme this year is "Power up with DARCA" - one of our sessions will explore small hydropower feasibility for existing canal systems. We also have breakout sessions for ditch company secretaries, board members and superintendents. This year, the Uncompahgre Valley Water User's Association is hosting a chuckwagon dinner and a live band for our Thursday night social event - wa-HOO!
