Everyone involved in Colorado water affairs is familiar with Western State College's annual Colorado Water Workshop, held in Gunnison in July every year.
Starting in 2007, the workshop is moving to the month of May in order to better accommodate the influx of visitors to town, and to allow students to participate. George Sibley, the longtime organizer of the workshop, has stepped down and Peter Lavigne is now in charge.
