Save the Date! DARCA's 2008 Convention in San Luis Valley
Tuesday, 22 May 2007
DARCA is pleased to announce that its Sixth Annual Convention will be held February 21-22, 2008 at the Inn of the Rio Grande Hotel and Conference Center in Alamosa, Colorado. Lodging is available at the convention site.
The conference will cover a variety of topics including Rio Grande River Basin issues, acequias in Colorado and New Mexico, how to effectively deal with the Federal Government on water and land matters, and business planning for ditch companies.
DARCA will again present a pre-convention workshop on February 20 from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. designed to provide concentrated focus to ditch management issues.
We are pleased to announce that our convention facilities this year allow us to again invite exhibitors and provide plenty of display space. In addition to exhibitors, we also encourage sponsorship of our event and we have several sponsorship options for your consideration. DARCA depends on its sponsors not only for financing the convention itself but also for operating expenses throughout the year. We really have appreciated the continuing support of our organization by our DARCA friends.
Please contact our convention coordinator, Max McKenzie, at (303) 875-2809 or at
for more information. More details will be posted on the website in the near future.
