The Colorado Supreme Court, Board of Continuing Legal and Judicial Education, has recently granted DARCA the status as a recognized sponsor for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs in the state of Colorado.
As a part of its educational mission, DARCA delivers workshops every year which are a very integral part in helping to inform and educate board members, superintendents, ditch riders, engineers, and lawyers about Colorado water issues. The DARCA courses have been well received and have been of high quality. The workshops, taught pro bono by experts in the Colorado water community, cover a variety of topics. These experts include ditch company personnel, professors, lawyers, engineers, university personnel, and consultants. They are provided to members to enhance the efficiency and professionalism of their organizations. New workshops are added each year and the locations are changed to different parts of the state
Attorneys have found our past workshops extremely valuable and have requested CLE credit. Now, attorneys will be able to receive credit for attending accredited courses. Additionally, our DARCA attorney instructors will be able to receive credit for the delivery and preparation of any courses they may teach. DARCA will submit an application for accreditation for each workshop that is predominately of a legal nature.
See you at the next DARCA course!
