The Colorado Water Congress 52nd Annual Convention, Respecting Our Past, Leading In The Present, Building For The Future, will
be held next week at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center, from
Wednesday, January 27th through Friday, January 29th, 2010. DARCA
members may attend the conference at CWC member rates.
DARCA
will be holding its popular Directors And Officers Training For Ditch
Companies workshop on Wednesday as a CWC pre-convention event from 1:00
to 5:30 p.m. The training session, approved for CLE credit, focuses on
practical guidance for directors and officers of ditch companies.
Veteran ditch company advisers, attorneys with expertise in ditch
companies, and nonprofit corporation organization and management
experts will lead the way through a variety of topics, from directors’
and officers’ duties and liabilities to communicating with
shareholders, dispute resolution and more. Extensive handouts will be
provided.
