The listserv is a valuable resource for any non-profit especially when its members are scattered across the state. DARCA uses the listserv as an immediate newsletter to members about new important information and upcoming events. However, you can also use the listserv as a way to communicate with your fellow ditch or reservoir companies.
Our listserv is mostly made up of DARCA members, along with a few special friends so there is a lot of information just waiting to be tapped. Many members have found great value already; for example, one member got great response from the listserv:

At your suggestion we contacted our fellow DARCA members and received 16 replies to our question. This was a gold mine of input from which we have formulated our pumping policy.
