Most ditch companies are nearly a century old, and many have files dating back to the company’s inception. All of this paperwork can overwhelm any administrator. An office can quickly become inundated and disorganized with all of these past records. If any of this sounds familiar, this workshop is for you.
Participants will learn the details of best practices for maintaining and storing ditch company documents. In this workshop you will learn the methods for properly cataloguing records and how to institute procedures today to ensure your files are in order tomorrow.
This workshop ends with an optional tour of the Water Resources Archive in the Morgan Library at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
