The Ditch and Reservoir Company Alliance (DARCA) will be hosting its 10th Annual Convention on February 23-24, 2012. The convention, Are Your Water Rights In Jeopardy? will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Colorado Springs.
During the two-day conference, a wide variety of speakers will discuss their views on timely subjects facing ditch and reservoir companies. The presentations will include discussions on the recent United/FRICO change case, administrative issues, and how to keep the next generation on the farm. We are pleased to have Colorado Supreme Court Justice Gregory J. Hobbs address our group on “Prior Appropriation: Does it Still Meet Changing Needs?” DARCA will be having three concurrent workshops on Friday morning: Session A: What Directors and Officers Need to Know Session B: Water Quality and Storm Water Issues Session C: Managing the Ditch Company
We are pleased to announce that the facilities allow us to again invite exhibitors. Exhibitors will be able to display their products and services in their own large room adjacent to the meeting hall. Please let us know of your intent to exhibit as soon as possible. Convention registration (plus meals) is included in the fee for exhibiting.
