 DARCA’s 10th Annual Convention in Colorado Springs in Feb of this year was well attended and provided our members with a broad range of in-depth information. One of the concurrent workshops during the last day of the convention involved issues facing ditch company board of directors. Eve Triffo, presenter, and DARCA board member delivered part of the workshop and distributed DARCA’s Ditch Company Directors and Officers Guide to the participants. Eve’s ten page guide synthesizes important corporate information including: incorporation, bylaws, director and officer duties, insurance, financial management, and suggestions on how your ditch company can strive to be a well-oiled machine.
