DARCA Invasive Species Summit and River Float!

Join DARCA members and water experts for a two-day summit focused on treatment options for invasive weeds and phreatophytes, riparian health, and a float down the Colorado River.
Location: Grand Junction, CO

When: Thursday, Sep. 24, 2015 – Presentations and Discussion Session – 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Friday, Sep. 25, 2015 – Colorado River float and site visits – 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Speakers: Tamarisk Coalition, DARCA, Mesa Land Trust, Colorado State University Extension, Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), the Water Center at Colorado Mesa University, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.

Cost: The workshop on Thursday is open to all and is free. The float trip on Friday is free, but is limited to only DARCA members. Lunch will be provided on both days. Please use DARCA code, 6JILB409, when registering.
