Urban Encroachment

Attorney Mark Hermundstad from Grand Junction has prepared an outline describing urban encroachment in all its forms. Included in his summary:

a glossary of terms (such as dominant estate)
definitions of different types of easements (such as prescriptive easements)
issues related to easements, including: crossings, use of service roads, discharge of stormwater drainage, and liability concerns.

Even though this outline includes lots of legal citations, it's easily digestible for the layperson, and would give anyone a basic understanding of some of these complex legal issues.
