I would like to invite you to Water Tables 2016 on Thursday, Jan. 28 from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. We are very pleased to again be holding this event – now in its 11th year — in conjunction with the Colorado Water Congress during its annual convention.
This year’s theme is “The Historic One Hundred.” Water professionals will be moderating dinner conversations about a fascinating range of collections held by the Archive, which acquired its 100th collection in 2015. The collections of DARCA, the North Poudre Irrigation Company, the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District, and Frank Milenski, to name just a few, are sure to spark interesting discussion and debate.
This year’s keynote speaker is Anne Castle, former assistant secretary of the Interior Department.
Water Tables is the annual fundraiser for the Water Resources Archive, which is actively engaged in preserving and providing access to nearly 3 million documents, photographs, and other materials vital to the region’s water history. Funds raised enable us to collect and digitize more materials, as well as pay for graduate students to assist in the Archive. Your financial support makes an important difference.
Good food, engaging topics, and great conversations are just a few of the reasons Water Tables is an annual highlight for many in the water community.
We invite you to join us!
